Betina Jozami (born 8 September 1988 in Paraná) is a professional tennis player from Argentina. She has not won a Women's Tennis Association tennis title, but has won five singles titles and eleven doubles titles on the International Tennis Federation (ITF). Born to Beto and Andrea Jozami, the Argentine has two siblings. Jozami won the 2007 Pan American Games doubles gold medal with Jorgelina Cravero, and also earned the bronze medal in singles.

Career

In 2003, Jozami played her first ITF tennis event in July, where she reached the finals.

In 2004, Jozami reached the finals of two ITF doubles tournaments, reaching the final in the first event of the year before winning a doubles final in Asunción.

In 2006, Jozami won the first ITF doubles tournament that she entered. She won the Monterrey singles and doubles events, along with winning the Jalapa doubles event in Mexico. In addition, she won the Leon, Mexico, singles title with a victory over Agustina Lepore in the final. Then, after losing in the Valencia doubles semifinals, she won four straight doubles titles in Caracas, Tampico, Guadalajara and Ciudad Juárez, winning the singles titles in Tampico, Guadalajara and Ciudad Juárez, and lost her 17-match doubles winning streak in the quarter finals of the San Luis Potosí event. She won the singles title in the finals Tampico singles title along with a 6–3, 6–0 victory over Daniela Múñoz Gallegos, and won the singles title of Ciudad Juárez over Estafania Craciun, the same person she defeated to win the Guadalajara title, 6–1, 0–6, 6–2.

In singles in 2007, Jozami qualified to reach various ITF singles semifinals. Jozami went on to lose a close three-set battle to Alina Jidkova in Wimbledon's qualifying draw, falling 6–3, 6–7 (6), 14-12 in the first round. She lost in the first round of the 2007 U.S. Open qualifying to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, 6–2, 6–2.

In doubles, Jozami made the semifinals of the first three ITF tournaments that she played in 2007, reaching two further semifinals in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Indian Harbour Beach, Florida, in the United States before reaching the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, finals with Estafania Craciun. She won a title in Madrid with compatriot Jorgelina Cravero, and won her second ITF title of the year, again with Cravero, in Washington, D.C. in the United States in August. She reached the finals in San Francisco, California, and in San Luis Potosí in Mexico, before finishing her year with an appearance in a 2007 WTA Tour event. Jozami teamed with Maria Fernanda Alves in the Quebec City doubles event, where they beat top seeds Meilen Tu and Vera Zvonareva in the quarterfinals before falling to Christina Fusano and Raquel Kops-Jones in the semifinals, a good end to Jozami's 2007 tennis season.

Jozami won the Waikoloa Village, Hawaii, doubles title in the United States in 2008, teaming with Maria Fernanda Alves to win the final against Angela Haynes and Mashona Washington.

At the 2008 Copa Colsanitas, she defeated top seed Flavia Pennetta 6–1, 2–6, 6–4, before reaching the quarter finals after a walkover win over Mariya Koryttseva. In the quarter finals, she defeated ninth seed Martina Müller 6–3, 6–1, to set up a semifinal clash with Nuria Llagostera Vives.
